This year the overall pass percentage is 83.07 percent. The arts stream pass percentage is 82.74 percent, commerce stream is 93.95 percent, science stream is 83.93 percent and vocational stream is 85.25 percent.
A total of 1304586 candidates have appeared for the exam out of which 1091948 candidates have passed the examination. Ayushi Nandan has topped in Science stream, Somya Sharma from Commerce stream and Mohaddesa has topped in Arts stream.
Science topper has scored 94.8 percent, Commerce and Arts topper have scored 95 percent.
The toppers of all the streams will be awarded with an amount of ₹1 lakh, laptop and Kindle-E-Book-Reader. Students who have secured second position in Arts, Commerce and Science will be awarded with ₹75000, a laptop and Kindle-E-Book-Reader. Third position holder candidates will get ₹50,000, a laptop and Kindle-E-Book-Reader.
BSEB Class 12 Examinations were held from February 1 to February 11, 2023. 123 evaluation centers evaluated a total of 69,44,777 answer sheets from the Class 12 exam. As many as 13.18 lakh candidates registered for the intermediate final exams in Bihar.
Last year, 1325749 candidates appeared for the examination, and 1062557 passed it. In the year 2022, Sangam Raj topped the arts stream with 96.4%, Ankit Kumar Gupta passed the commerce stream with 94.6%, and Saurav Kumar topped the science stream with 94.4%.

In the year 2021, the overall pass percentage was 78.04 percent, and in 2022, the pass percentage was 80.15%.
