Bihar Board BSEB Matric Special, Supplementary Exams 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the application deadline for Bihar Board Class 10th special and supplementary exams. BSEB Bihar Board 2025: Guidelines

The BSEB has established specific guidelines for students appearing in the Compartment and Special Exams. Students who have failed in one or two subjects, including English, are eligible to apply for the Compartment Exam, allowing them to reattempt these subjects and improve their scores.

Missed exam due to school negligence

Those who missed the exam due to the negligence of the school principal or any other reason will have the opportunity to take the Special Exam. Candidates should note that they can apply for a maximum of three subjects in the Compartment Exam, including compulsory subjects like English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics, and optional subjects.

Fee structure 

The BSEB Matric fee structure differs for general and reserved category students (SC, ST, and EBC/BC-I). The Bihar Board online exam application fee is Rs 70 for all BSEB Class 10 candidates, while the Matric examination fee is Rs 115. Miscellaneous fees total Rs 430, and both categories of students must pay Rs 170 for the Bihar Board BSEB Matric Class 10th mark sheet fee.

Additionally, BSEB students who are appearing for all Bihar Board subjects are required to pay Rs 110 for the BSEB Matric provisional certificate and Rs 55 for the science internal fee. The total fee, excluding the practical examination fee, is Rs 950 for general category students and Rs 835 for reserved category Bihar Board students.

Practical subjects 

Candidates who are taking practical subjects such as Home Science, Dance, Music, and Fine Arts must pay an additional Rs 30. An online processing fee of Rs 30 is also applicable. Thus, the total, including the practical examination fee, amounts to Rs 1,010 for general category students and Rs 895 for reserved category students.

A total of 4,70,845 students secured a first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, with 2,29,958 being boys and 2,54,054 being girls. Meanwhile, 3,07,792 students cleared the exam with a third division, comprising 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls. As many as 123 students are placed in the top 10 list. There are 25 students between ranks 1 and 5, while between ranks 6 and 10, there are a total of 98 students.
