Bihar Board Toppers 2025: Over 15 lakh students are awaiting the Bihar Board matric result 2025. The BSEB will release the class 10 scores at noon today, March 29, along with the toppers list. Every year, candidates who top the matriculation exam receive prize money along with a medal and certificate. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has doubled the prize money for the toppers this year.

Bihar Board Toppers 2025: How Much Money Will Toppers Get?

BSEB recently announced that the prize money to be given to the toppers this year is being doubled. Compared to last year, this time the toppers will not only get more money, but arrangements have also been made for laptops and scholarships for them.

Till last year, students who got the first rank in the matriculation examination used to get one lakh rupees, which has now been increased to two lakh rupees. Similarly, the second-rank holders will get 1.5 lakh rupees this time. Earlier this amount was Rs 75,000. Those who get the third rank will get 1 lakh rupees instead of 50,000 this time.

First topper: Rs 2 lakh, a laptop, certificate, and medal.

Second topper: Rs 1.5 lakh, earlier Rs 75,000 was given.

Third topper: Rs 1 lakh.

Fourth to 10th position: Rs 30,000.

A total of 15,85,868 students appeared in the examination, out of which 8,18,122 were boys and 7,67,746 were girls. Bihar Board examinations were conducted at 1,677 centres across the state.

The BSEB Class 10 2025 exams were held between February 15 and 25 in two shifts — 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Looking at past year pass percentages, 82.91% cleared the exams in 2024, 81.04% in 2023, 79.88% in 2022, 78.17% in 2021, and 80.59% in 2020.
