Board exams for Class 12 were conducted by BSEB from February 1 through February 11, 2023. 13.18 lakh candidates registered to take the intermediate final examinations in Bihar this year.

This year, a total of 13.18 lakh candidates appeared for the intermediate examination, of whom 10.91 lakh candidates passed the exam. The overall pass percentage is 83.7 %. In the Arts stream a total of 82.74 % of candidates pass the exam, in the commerce stream the overall pass percentage is 93.95%, For thescience stream the pass percentage is 83.93%.

Overall, 80.15% of students passed the exam last year. There were 641829 female candidates who turned up for the test, and 528817 of them passed. A total of 683920 male candidates turned up for the test, and 233740 of them passed.
