Aarti, the daughter of a vegetable seller, etched her name in history by securing the top position in Arts stream in the Bihar Class 12 Examination 2025. Her achievement has not only brought immense pride to her family but has also become a source of inspiration for her district, Chhapra.

Aarti, a student of Gandhi Smarak Plus 2 School in Kopa, had earlier secured 84 percent marks in her Class 10 board exams. Though she did not make it to the toppers’ list then, she remained undeterred, dedicating herself to relentless hard work. This perseverance has now paid off, as she stands among the state’s brightest students.

In an emotional statement, Aarti credited her success to her unwavering determination and her parents’ sacrifices. She revealed that she stayed away from social media to maintain her focus on studies. Her ultimate goal, she shared, is to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, a dream she nurtures not just for herself but also for her family, who have stood by her through thick and thin.

Aarti’s father, Sunil Sao, earns a modest living by running a small vegetable shop at Kopa Chatti. Despite financial constraints, he prioritised his daughter’s education, ensuring she had the necessary resources, including a laptop and mobile phone, to aid her studies. Overwhelmed with joy, he expressed immense pride in Aarti’s accomplishment and vowed to support her aspirations in every possible way.

Her mother, Urmila Devi, shared that she always had high hopes for her daughter, having witnessed her relentless dedication firsthand. The family’s happiness knows no bounds as they celebrate their daughter’s triumph.
