Tejashwi Yadav Slams Govt
Former Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at the Nitish Kumar government and said, “Mentally ill people are running the state, they don’t even know what is happening in Bihar? BJP has crossed the limits of hooliganism in the state.”
He alleged that the BJP is “justifying the use of police brutality” against the aspirants.
“Until a few months ago, NDA leaders couldn’t stop labeling Nitish Kumar as mentally unstable, citing serious illnesses. Now, those same BJP-LJP-HAM leaders are bowing to his dictatorial decisions, justifying the use of police brutality against #BPSC aspirants and endorsing this hooliganism,” he posted on X.
नीतीश कुमार खुद… pic.twitter.com/un9IkK8uNG

BPSC Chairman Rules Out Cancellation Of Exam
On Tuesday, BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai ruled out the cancellation of the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, conducted earlier this month amid allegations of a question paper leak.
However, he confirmed that the BPSC would conduct a re-examination for candidates who appeared at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar examination center on December 13. The re-examination is scheduled for January 4, 2025.
The preliminary examination at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar in Patna’s Kumhrar area was recently annulled after an official on duty suffered a fatal heart attack during a commotion caused by “unruly” candidates on December 13. The re-examination, expected to involve around 12,000 candidates, will take place at a different center in the city.
The BPSC has issued show-cause notices to 34 candidates allegedly involved in the disruption at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar center on the same date.
