Pune: Shivaji Khandekar, a member of the action committee of the state coordination committee for the strike, said that while the teaching and non-teaching staff is on strike, the board exam on Tuesday will not be hampered.
“We do not want students to suffer because of the strike and since it is their future, we will be participating in the conduct of the exam. However, for paper checking and moderation, we have declared a strike. We are also participating in a protest march on Tuesday which will start at noon from the Central Building and end at the district collector’s office after a stop at the zilla parishad office.”
Sharad Gosavi, MSBSHSE chairman, said, “The board exam scheduled for Tuesday will take place. There is no change.”
