Thousands of students gathered on the streets in Patna on Monday to protest against the 70th BPSC PT exam. Candidates are demanding a re-exam. Supporting this demand, well-known teacher Khan Sir has also joined the protest.

According to candidates, there has been large-scale rigging and irregularities in the examination held at the Bapu Examination Centre on December 13. They have demanded an investigation into the matter and cancellation of the examination.

On Monday, a large number of candidates marched from Musallahpurhat to the Gardani Bagh protest site. Khan Sir has now joined the students’ movement and has claimed that he has evidence of rigging in the exam. “Government will benefit the most from re-exam. The demand for re-exam is not wrong,” he told PTI. During the agitation, there were lathi charges and cases have been registered against many candidates.

Khan Sir had claimed on February 13 that he had found concrete evidence of rigging in the BPSC examination. He said that the examination papers were missing from the treasury of Nawada and Gaya, which were later sent to the Bapu examination center. These papers were to be sold as scrap, but on January 4, these papers were used in the examination, due to which manipulation was also seen in the examination result.

He also claimed that he had a video of the exam scam. He has said that he will go to the High Court regarding this matter and he is confident of winning the case. It remains to be seen what the stance is after Khan Sir joins the movement and takes the matter to court. At present, this movement that has started once again in Patna regarding the BPSC exam has posed a new challenge for the administration.
