BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) has announced its second phase of the teacher recruitment procedure, and it will commence soon. They have also informed the candidates that the examination for teacher recruitment will be held in December. As per reports, vacancies will be made available for about 1.10 lakh posts, in the second phase of teacher recruitment. The notice issued by BPSC said that the process of filing online applications for the second phase of teacher recruitment is possible from November 3 to 14. For these vacancies, the examination is likely to be conducted from December 7 to 10. These are the estimated dates, and there might be changes in them later. Another competitive exam related to the appointment of headmasters will also be organised. This examination will be organised for the Backward Class and Most Backward Class Welfare Department.

In the second phase of recruitment, teachers in middle school (class 06 to 08), secondary (class 09 to 10), and higher secondary (class 11 to 12) will also be hired. Primary teachers (trained), secondary teachers (graduate trained), and higher secondary teachers (postgraduate trained) will also be hired. They will be employed under the Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department. The headmasters will also be reinstated via the recruitment process.

The Education Department has sent a pre-requisite notice to the General Administration Department for the filling of 70 thousand posts in the second phase of teacher recruitment. The requisition will be sent to BPSC, as well as through the General Administration Department. As of now, there are a total of 37,710 posts of secondary and higher secondary teachers and 31,982 vacancies of middle school teachers. According to reports, the number of vacancies can still increase, regarding these posts. A total of 40 thousand vacancies remained vacant in the first phase of recruitment. There is a chance that these posts may also be added in the second phase of the appointment.

As per reports, BPSC declared the Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) result in 2023 for Class 11-12 language subjects.
