BSEB Bihar Board Class 10th 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced to commence the application process for the BSEB Bihar Board 2025 Matric Compartment and Special Exams. The applications for BSEB Bihar Board supplementary and special exam will commence on April 4 and will remain open until April 12. These exams offer a chance for BSEB Bihar Board Matric students who have failed in one or more subjects or were unable to attend the exam for any reason. Applications must be submitted through the students’ respective schools, and payment of the prescribed examination fee is mandatory.

Bihar Board BSEB Matric students can submit their exam applications online through the BSEB’s official websites: bsebonline.com, secondary.biharboardonline.com, and biharboardonline.com. School principals are responsible for downloading the BSEB Bihar Board exam forms and ensuring the online submission of applications within the specified deadline. Additionally, the required examination fee must be paid during the application process.

BSEB Bihar Board Class 10th 2025: Compartment, special exam guidelines for matric students

The BSEB has established specific guidelines for students appearing in the Compartment and Special Exams. Students who have failed in one or two subjects, including English, are eligible to apply for the Compartment Exam, allowing them to reattempt these subjects and improve their scores.

Those who missed the exam due to the negligence of the school principal or any other reason will have the opportunity to take the Special Exam. Candidates should note that they can apply for a maximum of three subjects in the Compartment Exam, including compulsory subjects like English, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, and optional subjects.

The BSEB Matric fee structure varies for general and reserved category (SC, ST & EBC (BC-I)) students. The online exam application fee is Rs 70 for all BSEB Class 10th candidates, while the examination fee is Rs 115. Miscellaneous fees amount to Rs 430, and the mark sheet fee is Rs 170 for both BSEB Matric categories.

Additionally, students appearing in all subjects must pay Rs 110 for the BSEB Matric provisional certificate and Rs 55 for the science internal fee. The total fee, excluding the practical examination fee, is Rs 950 for general category students and Rs 835 for reserved category BSEB Bihar Board students.

Candidates appearing for practical subjects such as Home Science, Dance, Music, and Fine Arts must pay an additional RS 30. Furthermore, an online processing fee of Rs 30 is applicable. The grand total, including the practical examination fee, is Rs 1,010 for general category students and Rs 895 for reserved category students.

BSEB Bihar Board Matric 2025 performance

A total of 4,70,845 students secured a first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, with 2,29,958 being boys and 2,54,054 being girls. Meanwhile, 3,07,792 students cleared the exam with a third division, comprising 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls. As many as 123 students are placed in the top 10 list. There are 25 students between ranks 1 and 5, while between ranks 6 and 10, there are a total of 98 students.

The Bihar board conducted the Class 10 BSEB matric exam between February 17 and 25. BSEB Class 10 exams were held for a total of 15.85 lakh students. The BSEB answer keys of the matric exams were released on March 6. Candidates were given a deadline of March 10 to raise any challenges in the BSEB Matric Class 10 answer key.
