BSEB Compartment Exam Results 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, on May 31 announced the Class 10 matric and Class 12 intermediate special and compartment exam results on May 31 at 3.30 pm. The BSEB Chairman, Anand Kishore announced the Class 10 and Class 12 special and compartment exam results from the auditorium of the main building of the BSEB office, Sinha Library Road, Patna. Students can now check and download the BSEB matric and inter results at biharboardonline.com.
In the BSEB matric special exams, as many as 8,830 students appeared, of them, 4,609 students – 2,919 boys students and 1,690 girls students – passed. The pass percentage in Bihar board Class 10 special exams is 52.20 per cent. In the BSEB matric special exam results, as many as 1,396 students have been placed in the first division, 1,182 students are placed in second, 854 students in third and 1,077 students are kept as passed.
In the BSEB matric compartment exams, as many as 52,552 students appeared, of them, a total of 17,309 students – 7,584 boys students and 9,725 girls students – passed. The pass percentage in Bihar board Class 10 compartment exams is 32.93 per cent.
The board conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 compartment and special exams for students who either flunked or missed their annual board exams that were held in February. BSEB Class 10 and Class 12 special and compartment exams began on May 2. The Class 10 exams were conducted till May 7 and Class 12 theory exams continued until May 13.
BSEB had announced the results of the Inter and Matric annual examinations in March. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks in one or more subjects were given the opportunity to apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets and those placed in the compartment category had to appear for the compartment exams.
The pass percentage in BSEB Class 10 this year is recorded at 82.11 per cent. A total of 4,70,845 students secured a first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, with 2,29,958 being boys and 2,54,054 being girls. Meanwhile, 3,07,792 students cleared the exam with a third division, comprising 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls. As many as 123 students are placed in the top 10 list. There are 25 students between ranks 1 and 5, while between ranks 6 and 10, there are a total of 98 students.
This year, a total of 12,80,211 candidates appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12 examinations. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 86.56 per cent. Stream-wise, 82.75 per cent of students cleared the exam in the arts stream, 94.77 per cent of students in the commerce stream have passed, and in the Science stream, 89.66 per cent of the students passed.
