The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has made a major announcement regarding the recruitment of 11,389 staff nurse posts. Earlier, the last date to apply was fixed as June 7, 2025, which has now been extended to June 13, 2025. This decision has provided relief to candidates who were unable to apply earlier due to any reason. Interested applicants can visit the official BTSC website at btsc.bihar.gov.in to submit their applications online.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the General Nursing and Midwifery (G.N.M.) course from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, along with the relevant certification. In addition, the candidate must be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna.
To be eligible, candidates must be at least 21 years old. The upper age limit is 37 years for Unreserved (UR) male candidates, 40 years for UR female and OBC candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee
General/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class/Economically Weaker Section (EWS): ₹600
SC/ST candidates (permanent residents of Bihar): ₹150
Female candidates (reserved/unreserved, permanent residents of Bihar): ₹150
Candidates from outside Bihar (male or female, any category): ₹600
The application fee must be paid online only via debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI. Applicants are advised to keep a copy of the payment receipt for future reference.
