CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: If students do not have access to the internet or the CBSE website has crashed, then they can check their scores through SMS. Here’s how

CBSE board results 2025 are likely to be announced in May. Once out, students will be able to check their marks on the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the class 10 and 12 examinations from February 15 to April 2, 2025.
Over 30 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Board 10th and 12th examinations this year. Last year, the results were announced on May 13 and in 2023, it was out on May 12. While in the year 2022, the results were released on July 22.

CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: No Internet? How to Check via SMS?
If students do not have access to the internet or the CBSE website has crashed, then they can check their scores through SMS.
Step 1 — Open the SMS application on your phone.
Step 2 — Type – cbse10 or cbse12 depending on your class
Step 3 — Send text to 7738299899.
Step 4 — CBSE 10th Result 2025/ CBSE 12th Result 2025 will be available through SMS.
CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: Subject-Wise Passing Criteria
To pass the exam, candidates must score a minimum of 33 marks out of 100 in each subject. For subjects with both practical and theory components, candidates need to achieve 33 percent marks in each separately to clear the exam. In Maths, Science, Social Science, and English theory exams, students must score 27 marks out of 80. For practical exams, all candidates must obtain at least 6 marks out of 20 to pass.
CBSE will issue the merit certificate to top 0.1 per cent of 10th and 12th students who have scored the highest marks. The toppers list will not be released to avoid unhealthy competition. The board has further stated that it does not award second or third division to students.
