CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has addressed a letter dated May 2, 2025, which has been widely circulated on social media. The Board clarified that the notice is fake and was not released by any authorised CBSE official.

CBSE emphasised that spreading false information leads to unnecessary panic and confusion, especially among students and their families.
The Board has also advised the public to rely only on official sources, such as the CBSE website and official press releases, for accurate updates.
Earlier this week, CBSE officials had already clarified that the results will not be declared this week. A senior official confirmed that the result date has not yet been finalised, and no formal notification has been issued.

In 2025, over 44 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams, held between February 15 and March 18, 2025—are currently awaiting their results. Despite multiple rumors suggesting a May 2 declaration, CBSE has dismissed such claims and reiterated that no confirmed date has been set yet.
CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2025: When did the Board declare results in the previous years?
The CBSE board results for Class 10 and 12 have followed a consistent pattern over the years.
In 2022, the results were delayed due to pandemic-related disruptions and were declared on July 22. However, in 2023 and 2024, CBSE returned to its usual schedule, announcing results on May 12 and May 13, respectively.
For 2025, the board is expected to release the results in the second week of May, though an official date has not yet been confirmed. Over the years, CBSE has also revised its post-result processes to enhance transparency, including changes in the sequence of verification and re-evaluation1.
