CSBE 10th Science Board Exam 2025: The Science paper will have an 80-mark theory paper and students must score at least 33% to clear the exam.

CBSE 10th Science Board Exam 2025: The CBSE Class 10 Science Board exam 2025 will be held today, February 20. The exam will take place in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, and students must reach the exam centre before 10 am, as no entry will be allowed after that.
To appear for the exam, students must carry their CBSE admit card 2025 and school ID. The Science theory paper will be for 80 marks, while the remaining 20 marks will be based on internal assessment. There are no changes in the CBSE Class 10 syllabus for this year.
The CBSE Class 10 board exams 2025 started on February 15 and will continue until March 18. The first exam on February 15 was for English (Language and Literature) and English (Communicative). On February 17, exams were held for subjects like Hindustani Music (Percussion Instruments), Gurung, Rai, Tamang, Sherpa, Elements of Bookkeeping and Accountancy, and Physical Activity Trainer.
CBSE Class 10 Exam 2025: Science Exam Pattern
The CBSE Class 10 Science exam 2025 will have an 80-mark theory paper. The marks distribution for different units is as follows:
- Chemical Substances – Nature and Behaviour (Chemical reactions, Acids, bases and salts, Metals and nonmetals, Carbon compounds) – 25 marks
- World of Living (Life processes, Control and co-ordination in animals and plants, Reproduction, Heredity and Evolution) – 25 marks
- Natural Phenomena (Reflection and refraction of light, Functioning of a lens in the human eye, Refraction through a prism, etc.) – 12 marks
- Effects of Current (Electric current, Ohm’s law, Magnetic effects of current, Alternating current, Domestic circuits) – 13 marks
- Natural Resources (Our Environment) – 5 marks
Total Marks: 80

CBSE Class 10 Passing Marks
To pass the Class 10 board exams, students must score at least 33% in each theory subject. They also need a minimum of 33% in practicals, projects, and internal assessments. Overall, students must secure 33% marks in both theory and practical components combined to clear the exam.
