CBSE Class 10 Paper Analysis: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  conducted the Class 10 board exams for Computer Applications, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Educators and students alike have shared positive feedback on the overall experience.

The papers for these subjects were deemed well-structured, manageable, and aligned with the curriculum, with students demonstrating solid understanding and practical application of the concepts.

Computer Applications: A Balanced Approach

Komal Dhawan, Computer Science educator at Shiv Nadar School Noida, praised the exam for its balance, saying, “The exam was well-balanced, combining probing and clarifying questions that allowed students to apply their understanding effectively.” While some students found certain CSS-based questions slightly challenging, she noted that the overall paper was “manageable and not lengthy.” Dhawan added that the confidence and satisfaction shown by students after the exam reflected their preparation and the quality of learning sessions throughout the year.

Information Technology: Well-Prepared Students Excel

At Global Indian International School, Bannerghatta, Bangalore, Savita Srivastava, TGT in Information Technology, reported that students showcased a strong conceptual understanding and practical application of the subject. “The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate, with a well-balanced mix of theoretical and application-based questions,” she said. Students found the paper to be straightforward and manageable, aligning well with the CBSE syllabus and sample papers.

Srivastava highlighted that the school is expecting 3-4 centum scores, reflecting the dedication and preparation of the students. “We are confident of a 100% pass rate, which speaks to the effectiveness of our teaching methodology and the students’ consistent efforts,” she added, congratulating the students for their hard work and success.

Artificial Intelligence: Well-Structured and Balanced

Minakshi Ranjan, TGT in Artificial Intelligence at Global Indian International School, Noida, shared her insights on the AI exam, calling it “easy and well-structured.” According to Ranjan, the MCQs were simple and manageable, while the subjective questions were application-based yet aligned with the syllabus.

“Students did not encounter any difficulties with the questions. Rigorous practice and the sample papers shared helped them to solve even the tricky questions with ease and accuracy,” she explained. The exam, she noted, was balanced, allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge without being overwhelmed by difficult or unfamiliar concepts.
