CBSE Class 12th English Exams 2025 Today: The CBSE Class 12 English board exam will be held today from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students will get an extra 15 minutes before the exam to read the question paper. Students must carry their CBSE 12th admit card 2025 and school ID to the exam centre. They should avoid bringing any electronic gadgets or prohibited items to the exam hall to prevent disqualification. As per the CBSE dress code 2025, students must wear their school uniform during the exam.

CBSE Class 12 English Paper 2025 Marking Scheme

The CBSE Class 12 English question paper 2025 will have 13 questions divided into three sections — Section A (Reading Skills), Section B (Creative Writing Skills), and Section C (Literature). All questions are compulsory, but there will be internal choices in Sections B and C. The exam will carry a total of 80 marks.

In Section A, Question 1 will carry 12 marks, and Question 2 will be of 10 marks, making a total of 22 marks.

In Section B, Question 3 and Question 4 will carry 4 marks each, while Question 5 and Question 6 will be of 5 marks each. This section will carry a total of 18 marks.

In Section C, Question 7 will carry 6 marks, Question 8 will be of 4 marks, and Question 9 will carry 6 marks. Question 10 will have the highest weightage of 10 marks, while Question 11, 12, and 13 will carry 4, 5, and 5 marks, respectively. The total for this section is 40 marks.
