CBSE Board Supplementary Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start registrations for the CBSE supplementary exams for private students today. The registration facility is for both classes 10th and 12th. Students who are interested and want to apply for the CBSE supplementary results can visit the official website.
It is pertinent to note that CBSE Class 12th students are permitted to register for the improvement exams in one subject; on the other hand, Class 1oth students can improve their scores in up to two subjects.
CBSE Board Supplementary schedule 2025
Private students of CBSE must submit their applications through the official website, cbse.nic.in. The application form will be available from May 30 until June 17. According to the CBSE supplementary exam schedule for 2025, the Class 10 and Class 12 exams are set to take place starting from July 15.
Who is eligible to apply?
CBSE students who have taken all their exams as private candidates and received a compartment status in any subject are eligible to apply. Those who have passed must select the improvement option when filling out the form. The board has also clarified that students who appeared as regular candidates in the 2023-24 board exams are eligible to apply.
What fees need to be submitted?
For the CBSE compartment exam in 2025, students are required to pay an application fee for each subject. The fee structure is as follows:
– For private candidates in India: Rs 300 per subject
– For private candidates in Nepal: Rs 1,000 per subject
– For private candidates outside India: Rs 2,000 per subject
Additionally, students who miss the application deadline will need to pay a late fee of Rs 2,000 in addition to the standard application fee. Payments can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking, as stated in the official circular.
CBSE Class 10th, 12th Results 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the Class 10 and 12 results 2025 on May 13. The overall pass percentage has seen a minor increase. A total of 17,04,367 students had registered for the CBSE 2025 Class 12 examinations. Out of these, 16,92,794 students appeared, and 14,96,307 students passed the exam, bringing the pass rate to 88.39%.

For the CBSE Class 10 exams, out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students successfully passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to an impressive figure — 93.66%.
