UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for UPSC CDS I exam 2024 today, December 20, 2023. The notification is accessible on the official website – upsc.gov.in. Along with it, the commission has activated the UPSC CDS online link, which will remain active until January 9.  The application correction link will remain active from January 10 to 16.

Interested candidates holding the required eligibility criteria can submit their application forms through the official website, upsc.gov.in. This recruitment drive is begin conducted to fill a total of 457 CDS vacancies.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services exam, a national-level examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year. CDS Vacancy 2024

A total of 457 vacancies will be filled through the CDS 1 Exam 2024. Among these, the maximum number of vacancies are released for the Officers’ Training Academy i.e. 293. UPSC CDS 1 Notification 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: For the UPSC CDS exam, candidates must possess a graduation degree. Those who are aiming for the Navy should have completed their engineering degree. On the other hand, aspirants who want to join the Air Force Academy must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry, in addition to holding a Bachelor’s degree.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the Air Force and Navy under the CDS exam should be aged between 19 to 23 years, while those aiming for the Officers Training Academy must be in the age group of 19 to 24 years.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Search for UPSC CDS 1 exam 2024 apply online link provided on the homepage. Click on it.

Step 3: You will be directed to a new webpage where you need to register. Provide your basic information and contact details to generate your registration ID and password.

Step 4: After registration, you will receive your registration number and password on the email ID or phone number you provided.

Step 5: Fill the application form and upload the requisite documents.

Step 6: Make the required fee payment before submitting the application form.

Step 7: Download it and take a printout for further need.
