The CGBSE is slated to carry out the class 10 and 12 board exams in March 2024. The deadline to register for board exams 2024 is October 31

The registration window for the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2024 has begun on October 10. All students who are eligible to register for the class 10 and 12 board exams must go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Board, cgbse.nic.in, and register themselves. The deadline to apply for the Chhattisgarh board exams 2024 is October 31. Applications may, however, be submitted until November 30 with a late fee.

The CGBSE is slated to carry out the class 10 and class 12 examinations for the upcoming year in March 2024. The official schedules for the board examinations will be made public in December, and the hall tickets will be issued for download in February 2024. The results of the CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations are expected to be released in May 2024.

–– Registering with a late fee: November 1 to November 15

–– Registering with a special late fee: November 16 to November 30

CGBSE board exams 2024: How to register

Step 1:Navigate to cgbse.nic.in, the official website.

Step 2: Click on the CGBSE board exams 2024 registration link.

Step 3: Enter the required credentials and sign up to fill out the registration form.

Step 4: Submit the form and pay the CGBSE board exams 2024 registration fee.

Step 5: Take a printout of the CGBSE class 10, 12 board exams 2024 registration form for future records.

On its official website, the Chhattisgarh board has set the syllabus and the examination format for the class 10 and 12 board exams. The CGBSE board exam format contains both objective and subjective questions worth 100 marks each, including written tests worth 75 marks and internal assessments worth 25 marks. Both the Class 10 and Class 12 exams are conducted for a duration of three hours. Candidates can gain a better grasp of the exam’s format by going through sample papers and past year’s question papers offered by the board.

In 2023, CGBSE enrolled a total of 3,37,569 applicants for the Class 10 High School Certificate Examination. The examination was taken by 3,30,681 of these applicants and the pass percentage for class 10 students had been determined to be 75.05 per cent.

For the Class 12 Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, 3,28,121 applicants had registered this year. In all, 3,23,625 applicants took the exam, bringing the pass percentage for class 12 to 79.96 per cent.

Earlier this year, CGBSE barred over 1,000 state teachers from correcting Class 10 and 12 board exam answer sheets due to negligence. In a statement, secretary VK Goyal stated that the banned examiners had been negligent in their assessment of the class 10 and 12 students’ answer scripts.
