Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi while congratulating the citizens on the recognition of India’s expanding social security coverage by the International Labour Organization. In a post on social media platform ‘X’, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India’s remarkable progress in social security coverage is not just a statistic—it is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, towards public service and inclusive development. He further said that social security coverage reflects the nation’s resolve to reach the last person in society and to include every citizen in the mainstream with dignity. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav added that Prime Minister Shri Modi is working with visionary thinking for the welfare and empowerment of every section of society.

Union Labour Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, while highlighting the poverty-centric and worker welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government over the last 11 years, said on social media platform ‘X’ that inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” India has achieved a historic milestone in the field of social security coverage—one of the most significant expansions globally. According to the latest data from the ILO State Database of the International Labour Organization (ILO), India’s social security coverage has increased from 19 percent in 2015 to 64.3 percent in 2025. India now ranks second in the world in terms of the number of beneficiaries, providing social security coverage to more than 94 crore citizens.
