The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has revised the syllabus of some subjects for Class 11 and Class 12. The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 11 and Class 12 revised syllabus and its scope is available on the Council’s website – cisce.org under the tab ‘Library (Publications)’.
CISCE has changed the ISC Class 12 syllabus for the 2025 exams in subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, commerce, accounts, history, geography, political science, sociology, psychology and legal studies. The syllabus and its scope of the remaining subjects remains unchanged, the Council added.
While for Class 11 2024-25 academic year, syllabus for only chemistry, biology, mathematics and history have been changed.
CISCE has asked the heads of schools disseminate the information on the change of ISC Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus to all students, teachers, parents, and guardians.
Meanwhile, the ICSE Class 10 exams concluded on March 27 and ISC exams got over on April 5. The Council will now next announce the result. Students will be able to access the result from the official website – cisce.org, when announced.
For the Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC exams, CISCE has said that it will declare the results in May 2025. The results will not be available from the CISCE New Delhi office but will be made available on the official website of the Council at cisce.org only.
Students will have the option to improve their Class 10 and Class 12 marks and grades in the same year of the exams and also take improvement exams. Candidates will, however be allowed to appear in a maximum of two subjects. The compartment exams in ICSE exams have been canceled from the 2024 board exams.

Last year, the CISCE concluded the ICSE Class 10 exams 2024 on March 28 and ISC Class 12 exams on April 3 and declared the results for both classes on May 6.
