Candidates applying for the COMEDK UGET exam need to have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam recognised by state or central authorities
COMEDK UGET 2025: Interested and eligible students who are yet to apply can do so through the official website, comedk.org.
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has extended the COMEDK UGET 2025 registration process till March 20, 2025. Interested and eligible students who are yet to apply can do so through the official website, comedk.org. Earlier, the last date to apply was March 15. “Application last date now extended to Thursday, 20 March 2025, 12 noon,” reads the official notice.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the COMEDK UGET exam need to have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam recognised by state or central authorities. General category applicants must have secured at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Reserved category applicants (SC, ST, and OBC) need a minimum of 40% aggregate in these subjects.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Documents Required To Apply
Candidates will need the following documents while applying for the exam:
— Scanned copy of passport-size photograph,
— Scanned copy of signature,
— ID proof,
— class 10 and 12 mark sheets,
— Category certificate, if applicable.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website, comedk.org.
Step 2: Click the COMEDK UGET 2025 application form link.
Step 3: Fill out the personal and educational information on the COMEDK 2025 application form.
Step 4: Upload the relevant documents and click submit.
Step 5: Download and save a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Exam Pattern
The COMEDK UGET 2025 will be held on Saturday, May 10. The exam is typically held on the second Sunday of May but it was rescheduled due to a conflict with another national-level examination.
“Since inception, COMEDK has been conducting its entrance test on the second Sunday of May every year. But because of conflict of date with other national level examination, the schedule had to be altered and UGET – 2025 will be conducted on Saturday the 10th May 2025,” reads the official notice.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions: 9 AM to noon (morning shift) and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (afternoon shift). The three-hour computer-based test (CBT) will cover physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with 180 questions per section. Candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking.
