COMEDK UGET 2025: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) today will start the registration for the counselling. The counselling registration will start today at 4 PM on the official website– comedk.org. The last date to register for the COMEDK is June 18. The COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling process will likely consist of three rounds, with seat allotment based on candidates’ choices and seat availability.
Candidates will participate in subsequent rounds based on their previous choices. An additional round of counselling will be conducted exclusively for candidates who qualified in the supplementary exam held by the PUC board, Class 12, during the current year, for leftover seats.
COMEDK UGET 2025: Educational qualification
–Passed in 2nd PUC or Class 12th standard examination with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45 per cent of marks in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State only). Relaxation in minimum academic eligibility (i.e. 45% to 40%) applies only to Karnataka Candidates.
— In case of the 1st year of the 5-year B.Arch degree course for the academic session 2025-26, the notfication mentioned that no candidate will be admitted to the Architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject, or Computer Scienc,e or
Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC).
The counselling process, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, seat confirmation, and fee payment, will be conducted online. To register, candidates need to have their COMEDK application form, rank card, hall ticket, fee payment receipt, and other relevant documents. After completing all formalities, candidates will receive a seat allotment letter and a fee payment receipt and must report to the allotted institute as per the schedule.
Candidates could register for round 1 of the COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling until June 18, 2025, till 2 PM. The counselling process determines admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in private and unaided engineering colleges across Karnataka. For updates on seat allotment, cutoff, and counselling guidelines, candidates should regularly visit the official COMEDK website.
The COMEDK UGET was held on May 10 and May 25 for one paper with three sections – maths, physics and chemistry. The exam on May 25 was conducted for a selected number of candidates who were placed in centres affected by Operation Sindoor and blackout, and possible power outages in some centres.
