CTET 2025 Exam Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2025 soon. While the exact date and time for the examination are yet to be confirmed, it is expected that the CTET July 2025 exam will be held tentatively in the first week of July. The complete schedule, including application process details, exam dates, and other crucial information, will be available in the official information brochure on the CBSE CTET website, ctet.nic.in.
Typically, the CTET application process begins in the first week of March, but this year, the application form has not been released yet. For reference, the CTET July 2024 application process opened on March 7, 2024, and closed on April 4, 2024. Based on past trends, it is expected that the application form for CTET July 2025 will be available soon, and candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for updates.
CTET 2025 Application Fee
While the application fee details will be provided in the official notification, here is an overview of the fees for the CTET December 2024 examination:

CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Teacher Training: Mandatory
Paper II (For classes VI to VIII):
Educational Qualification: 50% in Graduation + B.Ed (for Math/Science/Social Studies teachers)

How To Apply For CTET 2025 July Exam?
Once the application portal is launched, candidates will be able to apply for the CTET 2025 July exam on the official website by following the simple steps given below
Step 1: Log on to CTET official website – ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
Step 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
Step 5: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
Step 6: Print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
CTET Exam Pattern
The CTET 2025 exam will consist of two papers, both featuring Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking.
Paper I is intended for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes I to V.
Paper II is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes VI to VIII.
Candidates who wish to teach both primary and upper-primary levels (classes I to V and VI to VIII) will need to appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
Validity Of CTET Certificate
One of the key highlights of the CTET exam is that the qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take to acquire a CTET certificate. Additionally, candidates who have qualified for CTET can appear again if they wish to improve their scores.
