CTET 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2025. The CTET July 2025 is likely to be held tentatively in the first week of July, however, the board is yet to confirm the date and time of the examination. CBSE will release the complete schedule for the CTET application process, exam dates and other important details with the official information brochure on the official website – ctet.nic.in.
The application process for the CTET July exam typically begins in the first week of March. However, this year, the application form has not been released yet. For reference, the CTET July 2024 application opened on March 7, 2024, and candidates were able to apply until April 4, 2024. Based on previous trends, it is expected that CBSE will release the CTET July 2025 application form soon.
CTET Exam 2025: How To Apply Online?
Once the application portal is launched, candidates will be able to apply for the CTET 2025 July exam on the official website by following the simple steps given below
Step 1: Log on to CTET official website – ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
Step 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
Step 5: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
Step 6: Print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
CTET Exam Pattern
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carries one mark and there will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CTET-
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
A candidate who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
