The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) answer key for the December 2024 session. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website at ctet.nic.in.

CBSE will allow candidates to challenge the provisional answer key within a specified deadline, details of which will be provided on the website.

The CTET December 2024 exam was conducted on December 14 in two shifts. Paper 2 was held in the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 1 was conducted in the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Follow these steps to check and download the CTET answer key 2024 once it is released:

Step 1: Visit the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for the CTET December 2024 answer key.

Step 3: If required, log in using your credentials.

Step 4: The CTET December 2024 answer key will be displayed in PDF format.

Step 5: Candidates can view the question-wise answers in the PDF.

CTET Exam Details And Passing Marks

As per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the minimum qualification for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for Classes 1 to 8 is to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

CTET is conducted twice a year to determine eligibility for teaching positions for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 in participating schools.

The CTET certificate will be valid for lifetime for candidates from all categories. There is no limit on the number of attempts allowed to obtain the CTET certificate.

To qualify, general category candidates need a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories must score at least 55% in aggregate.
