The results of the CTET July exam were released on September 25.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted twice a year to shortlist eligible candidates for the position of teacher for Classes 1 to 8.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to commence the CTET 2023 application process in the month of October 2023. The notification for the December 2023 session is expected to be released anytime soon. Once the authority starts accepting online applications and activates the link for the same, candidates seeking to appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam can visit the official website at ctet.nic.in and fill in the application form.

It is important to note that the CTET exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in December 2023. However, the authority has yet to make any official announcement. The exam is conducted twice a year by CBSE to shortlist the eligible candidates for the position of teacher who can teach students in Classes 1 to 8. The results for the July session of the CTET exam were released on September 25. A total of 2,98,758 candidates for exam paper 1, whereas 1,01,057 qualified the paper 2.

CTET December Session 2023: Syllabus

While the link for application forms is yet to be activated, CBSE has released the syllabus for the CTET December session exams. Candidates looking to appear in the exam can visit the official website and download the CTET Syllabus. This will help them prepare as per the exam pattern.

Both CTET papers 1 and 2, will have 150 questions carrying one mark each. The questions will be based on Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Language, Mathematics and Science.

CTET Exam Pattern 2023

The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. It will be conducted in pen and paper-based mode. Paper 1 will have 5 sections whereas Paper 2 will include a total of 4 sections. CTET Paper 1 will be conducted to hire teachers for Classes 1 to 5. On the other hand, Paper II will be conducted for candidates who aspire to teach the students of Classes 5 to 8
