CUET 2025 correction window: The correction window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 has officially opened today. Candidates who have already registered for the examination are now allowed to make necessary corrections or modifications to their online application forms. The correction facility is available through the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, and will remain accessible until March 28, 2025, at 11:50 PM.
This opportunity aims to assist candidates who may have made errors in their personal details or other required fields in the application form. It is a one-time facility, and once the corrections are made, candidates must submit the changes before the specified deadline. After this period, no further modifications will be allowed under any circumstances.
Fields that can be corrected
The CUET 2025 correction window allows candidates to edit several important details in their application forms. However, it is important to note that certain fields cannot be changed once the application is submitted. These include the mobile number, email address, permanent and present addresses, and the emergency contact number.
Candidates can make corrections in the following fields:
• Candidate’s name
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name
• Class 10 and 12 (or equivalent) details
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category and sub-category (PwD/PWBD)

Additionally, candidates can also modify their examination city preferences. These preferences are based on the permanent and present address provided in the application. Up to four examination city preferences can be edited, allowing candidates to choose locations that are more convenient for them.
Subject choices and fee adjustments
Another significant change allowed during this correction period is the option to add or edit subject selections. Candidates can choose up to five subjects, including languages and general aptitude tests, as part of their CUET 2025 examination. If any changes in the subject selection result in an increase in the examination fee, candidates will be required to make the additional payment. However, it is important to note that any excess fee paid will not be refunded.
The correction process must be carried out carefully, as the application form will be frozen once the changes are submitted. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to verify their application details thoroughly before making any modifications.
Final reminders
Candidates should regularly check the official NTA websites, https://nta.ac.in and https://cuet.nta.nic.in, for any further updates or instructions regarding the CUET 2025. For any clarification, the NTA Help Desk is available at 011-40759000 or via email at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.
