The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2025 today, February 8, 2025. Candidates can submit their applications on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in, by 11:50 PM. Originally set to end on February 2, the deadline was extended after requests from candidates and stakeholders.
The CUET PG 2025 exam will be held between March 13 and March 31, 2025. The NTA will announce the city of the examination in the first week of March 2025 and the CUET PG 2025 Admit Cards will be released on the official website 4 days before the actual date of the examination.
CUET PG 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for CUET PG 2025 varies by category. For general candidates, the fee is Rs 1,400 for up to two test papers, with an additional Rs 700 for each extra test paper. OBC-NCL and GenEWS candidates will pay Rs 1,200 for up to two test papers, with Rs 600 for each additional paper. SC, ST, and third-gender candidates have a fee of Rs 1,100 for up to two test papers, and Rs 600 for each additional paper. PwD candidates are required to pay Rs 1,000 for the first two test papers, with Rs 600 for each extra test paper.

Step 2: On the homepage, click the link “Welcome to CUET (PG) – 2025 Portal.”
Step 3: Now click on “New Candidate Register Here.”
Step 4: Register by providing your name, mobile number, and other details.
Step 5: After registration, log in to your account and complete the application form.
Step 6: Upload your photograph and signature.
Step 7: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Once the registration period closes, NTA will open the application correction window from February 10 to 12, allowing candidates to modify their application forms.
Applicants for CUET PG 2025 can choose up to four question paper codes from a provided list and select up to four preferred exam cities. However, the total number of exam centres in India has been reduced to 285, while the number of international centres has increased. New centres have been introduced in cities like Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oslo (Norway), and Frankfurt/Berlin (Germany).
The question paper will feature 75 questions, the same as last year, but the exam duration has been reduced from 1 hour 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Each correct answer will earn four marks, while one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. Unanswered questions will not be penalized. Candidates must choose the most appropriate option from the available answers.
