The last leg of the CUET UG 2023 examination concluded on June 23, 2023. Since then students are waiting for the results or the answer key to determine whether they will study in their dream college or match the cut off. Although the examination authority is tight lipped on cut off and results, News18.com has exclusively prepared a list of probable cut off for this academic session. The cut off is prepared observing the past trends from India’s premiere higher educational institutions such as JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University.
The exact cut off list will only be declared once the counselling process is started by the authorities. Observing the past trends, Jawaharlal Nehru University’s cut off can range from 80-90 percent for BA Hons Arabic, 91-94 percent for BA Hons Chinese, 90-95 percent for BA Hons German, 89-94 percent for French, 87-91 percent for Korean languages.
In Jamia Millia Islamia University, the cut off for BA Hons Arabic can be 81.50 percent, 59.50 percent for B. Com, 54.75 percent for BA Honors Political Science, for BA LLB it can be 83.75 percent and for BSc Honors English it can be pegged at 61.75 percent. Hence it is believed that this year’s cut-off can be expected around these numbers.
As surveyed by Career 360, for Aligarh Muslim University, the probable ranks for B.Sc Hons. in Science and Life Science can be 1- 310 for boys on the other hand for girls, it can be 311 – 620. Further for courses in B.A Hons in Arts and Social Sciences, the expected ranks for girls can be from 267 – 532 while for boys, it can be 1 – 266. Meanwhile, it is expected that CUET UG Results 2023 can be declared in the first week of July. Nearly 15 lakh candidates are awaiting the results. The CUET UG result 2023 will be declared on the official website- cuet.samarth.ac.in.
A total of 36,242 candidates appeared in the last phase of exam conducted between June 21 to 23. Prior to the result, NTA will be issuing the CUET provisional answer key. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the key within a specified time. The subject experts will be reviewing the challenges and drafting the final answer key. The CUET UG 2023 results will be based on the final answer key uploaded by the agency.
