DBU to hold its 10th annual convocation – Times of India

CHANDIGARH: The Desh Bhagat University will organise its 10th annual convocation on Tuesday at Mandi Gobindgarh. More than 1600 undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, Ph D, and MPhil students would be awarded degrees at the convocation.
Dr Jagbir Singh, Chancellor of the Central University Punjab, Bathinda, will be the chief guest at the convocation. Chancellor of the Desh Bhagat University Dr Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr Tajinder Kaur, Vice-Chancellor Dr Varinder Singh, President Dr Sandeep Singh, and Vice-President Dr Harsh Sadavarti will welcome the guests.
Chancellor Dr Zora Singh will confer honorary degrees on deserving eminent personalities from a range of areas on this occasion. The university will also highlight its achievements in different fields during the year on this occasion. Medals and achievement certificates will be given out for outstanding contribution in the fields of sports and social service.
