Delhi, Noida School Bomb Threats: The police rushed to the school and started an investigation into the matter. The students were sent back to their homes, officials said.

Delhi Noida Schools Bomb Threat: Two schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats, prompting the management to shut down the schools and send students back to their homes, officials said on Friday.

The police rushed to the spot upon receipt of the information and deployed a dog squad in the school to search for any possible bombs.

They also analysed the CCTV footage and sanitised the classrooms to ascertain any threats.

Which Schools Received Bomb Threats In Delhi-NCR?

According to the officials, Delhi’s Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, and Shiv Nadar School, located in Noida’s Sector 168, the Expressway police station area, received a threat to blow up the school with a bomb.

Following this, the Noida school management sent emails to parents and shut down the campus. They sent the students back to their respective homes.

“Upon receiving a bomb threat through spam mail at Shiv Nadar School Noida, the school administration informed the police. The Expressway Police team, Bomb Squad, Fire Brigade and Dog Squad are checking the school premises. Senior police officers are present on the spot. The cyber team is investigating the email. The public is requested not to pay heed to the rumours and to maintain patience,” Noida Police said.

The police are conducting an investigation into the matter.

What Did The Delhi Police Say?

Delhi Police said that the principal of the Ahlcon International School received a threat email today, after which the school informed the police.

“The bomb disposal squad of the East district along with SHO Pandav Nagar and PS staff, reached the school. The school premises were checked. Nothing abnormal was found,” the Delhi Police said.
