Delhi University opens applications for NCWEB guest faculty roles

The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) of the University of Delhi has opened online application forms for the appointment of guest faculty for 26 of its undergraduate and one post-graduate teaching centres.

The application deadline for the role has been set for June 10, 2025. To submit an online application, students can visit the official websites of NCWEB (ncweb.du.ac.in) or DU (du.ac.in).

How to apply on Delhi University’s official website:

Step 1 – Go to the DU official website — du.ac.in

Step 2 – Find the ‘Spotlight’ sub-section using Ctrl + F or scroll down to the section. It will be under ‘Latest @DU’ section.

Step 3 – Click on the notification dated May 21, titled ‘Online Applications for appointment of Guest Faculty for Teaching Centres of the NCWEB, University of Delhi

Step 4 – In the new window, click Online Application.

Step 5 – Fill in details, like your name, contact details, academic qualification, etc.

Exclusively for women residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the NCWEB of the Delhi University provides educational opportunities for women who cannot attend regular classes due to work or other commitments.

With 50 teaching days a year, classes are held from 8.30 am to 4 pm on Saturdays or on Sundays and during academic breaks of Delhi University.

Guest faculty are appointed as per the guidelines set by University Grants Commission and Delhi University norms to teach the Non­-Collegiate students.

Bharati College, Dr B.R Ambedkar College, Janki Devi Memorial College, Lakshmi Bai College and Vivekanand College are some of the Saturday teaching centres.

Sunday teaching Centres include Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Keshav Mahavidlaya, Jesus and Mary College, Hansraj College and Aryabhatta College.
