Results.cbse.nic.in, CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Link: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 Result 2025 today, on May 13. Students who appeared for the Senior Secondary (Class 12) board exams can now check and download their mark sheets from the official websites at cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and the DigiLocker portal. Results are also available via the UMANG app.
To access their scores, students need to enter their roll number, school number, and date of birth as mentioned on their admit card.
A total of 17,04,367 candidates registered for the CBSE Class 12 exams in 2025. Out of these, 16,92,794 students appeared for the exams and 14,96,307 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.39%. This marks a slight improvement from 2024, when 87.98% of students passed the exams.
CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Rise in number of schools and exam centres
In 2025, a total of 19,299 schools participated in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, marking an increase from 18,417 schools in 2024. Similarly, the number of exam centres rose to 7,330 in 2025, up from 7,126 in the previous year, indicating a broader exam reach across the country.
CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Region-wise performance
Among all CBSE regions, Vijayawada recorded the highest pass percentage with an outstanding 99.60%, followed by Trivandrum at 99.32%. Chennai secured a pass rate of 97.39%, while Bengaluru and Delhi West reported 95.95% and 95.37%, respectively.
CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Girls outshine boys yet again
In terms of gender-wise performance, girls outperformed boys once again in 2025. The pass percentage for girls stood at 91.64%, while boys achieved 85.70%. This shows that girls performed better by a margin of 5.94%, continuing the trend seen in previous years.

CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Best performing school institutions
Among different types of schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.29%. They were closely followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 99.05%, while Schools under Central Tibetan Schools Administration (STSS) achieved 98.96%.
CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Number of high scorers
In 2025, a total of 1,11,544 candidates scored more than 90%, which accounts for 6.59% of all pass-outs. Meanwhile, 24,867 students scored above 95%, representing 1.47% of the total.
CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2025 Declared: Compartment data
This year, 1,29,095 students have been placed in the compartment category, making up 7.63% of the total candidates. This is slightly higher than in 2024, when 1,22,170 candidates (7.54%) were placed in compartment.
In 2024, CBSE declared the Class 12 results on May 13 with a pass percentage of 87.98%. A total of 16,21,224 students appeared, and 14,26,420 qualified. Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 91.52%, compared to 85.12% for boys. Over 24,000 students scored above 95%, while more than 1 lakh students secured marks above 90%.

Following the result declaration, CBSE will soon open the application window for verification of marks and re-evaluation. Students who fail in one or more subjects will also be eligible to appear in the supplementary exams. Detailed guidelines and dates will be notified on the board’s official website.
