Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar becomes the first female President of FOGSI from Pune – Times of India

PUNE: In an extraordinary milestone for the medical community of Pune, Gynecologist Dr Sunita Tandulwadkar has achieved an exceptional feat by being elected as the President of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).
FOGSI with 266 member societies and over 40,000 gynaecologist access in India members. This historic triumph marks her as the inaugural female representative from Pune to hold this esteemed position.
With an illustrious career that speaks volumes, Dr. Tandulwadkar has now joined an exclusive group of 5 luminaries in India who have achieved the remarkable distinction of prestigious IAGE (Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists) presiding from 2019-2020, ISAR (Institute of Science & Advanced Research) presiding till 2026 and now FOGSI from 2023-2025.
This trifecta of leadership roles further solidifies her legacy in the annals of Indian medicine.
