DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: DRDO’s GTRE has begun the registration for 150 apprentice posts. Apply online by May 8, 2025.

DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through its Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), has officially started the registration process for Apprentice Recruitment 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 150 apprentice posts in engineering, non-engineering, diploma, and ITI trades.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in or via apprenticeshipindia.org for ITI trades. The last date to apply online is May 8, 2025, and the first list of shortlisted candidates will be published on May 23, 2025.

DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Breakdown

Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Engineering: 75 Posts

Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Non-Engineering: 30 Posts

Diploma Apprentice Trainees: 20 Posts

ITI Apprentice Trainees: 25 Posts

DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as per Government of India norms. DRDO Apprentice Stipend 

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualifications:

Graduate Apprentice (Engineering & Non-Engineering): Rs 9,000

Diploma Apprentice: Rs 8,000

ITI Apprentice: Rs 7,000

DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

There will be no written test or interview. Selection will be purely based on academic merit, subject to satisfactory document verification. The apprenticeship training will last for 12 months from the date of contract execution.
