The BJP-backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is leading on three out of the four central panel posts in the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections after sixteen rounds of counting.
The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) is leading on the post of vice president, while the ABVP is leading on the posts of president, secretary, and joint secretary. The results will be announced after 26 rounds of counting.
The DUSU election was conducted on September 22 after a gap of three years. The DUSU elections were last held in 2019. The polls could not be held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 while possible disruptions to the academic calendar prevented their conduct in 2022.
