EIL Management Trainee recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have completed a full-time Engineering degree—B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc. (Engg)—within the minimum qualifying period, securing at least 65% marks. Additionally, only those who have appeared for the GATE 2025 exam in the relevant disciplines, including Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
As per the official notification of Engineers India Limited (EIL), the maximum age limit as of July 1, 2025, varies by category. The upper age limit is 25 years for General category candidates, 28 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 30 years for SC/ST applicants. For Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the limit is 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC-NCL, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
EIL Management Trainee 2025: Application process

- Navigate to the “Recruitment of Management Trainees” section.

- Enter the correct GATE 2025 Registration Number, as mentioned in the GATE Admit Card. Providing incorrect or invalid details may lead to rejection of the application.
Required Documents
Candidates must upload the following documents in .jpg/.jpeg format within the specified size limits:
- Passport-size photograph (max 75 KB)
- Caste certificate (for SC, ST, and OBC-NCL candidates) and disability certificate (for PWD candidates) (max 500 KB each)
- Percentage conversion certificate, if applicable, issued by the respective institute/university (max 500 KB)
- If the result is already in percentage format, candidates must upload a self-certification statement confirming the same.
Final Submission
After filling out all the details, submit the application. Upon successful submission, an auto-generated confirmation email will be sent to the registered email ID. Candidates should print a copy of the submitted application and retain it for reference, as it will be required during the Personal Interview if shortlisted.
