Success does not always necessitate vast resources, as demonstrated by Aditi Sonkar, a resident of Bauliya Mohalla in Sasaram. Aditi, a student at Shanti Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya, the oldest college in Sasaram, has achieved remarkable success.

She secured the fourth rank in the Commerce stream of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 12 examination across the state, bringing a smile to her face and tears of joy to her parents’ eyes. Aditi aspires to become a chartered accountant and fulfil her parents’ dream.

The achievement is significant, considering Aditi is the daughter of a fruit seller. Her father, Sunil Sonkar, works as a fruit seller and earns a modest income but has always prioritised the education of his children.

Aditi, the second among one brother and three sisters, has always been a stellar student. Sunil never imagined that his daughter would reach such heights, attracting neighbours and media to their doorsteps for congratulations. Relatives from afar are also calling to express their happiness.

Despite the limited resources in Sasaram, where there are no specialised coaching centres for commerce, Aditi has self-prepared for her studies, utilising YouTube and WhatsApp groups for educational support. Her dedication and hard work have paid off, and now she aims to continue her Chartered Accountancy studies.

Confident in the support of her parents, Aditi is determined to achieve her goal. Currently, the Sonkar family is celebrating, and Aditi is being treated to sweets by well-wishers.
