Candidates who enrolled for the GATE exam in the aforementioned cities have the option to withdraw their application and receive a full refund of their application costs. Otherwise, they can choose one of the cities in India and receive a refund for their registration expenses. They will, however, have to pay the fees for the papers for which they appear.
These international candidates have two possibilities at IIT Kanpur:
All Indian nationals in the SC, ST, PwD, and female categories must pay INR 850, while others, including international nationals, must pay INR 1,700. Candidates who enrolled for the GATE exam in the aforementioned cities have the option to withdraw their application and receive a full refund of their application costs. Otherwise, they can choose one of the cities in India and receive a refund for their registration expenses. They will, however, have to pay the fees for the papers for which they appear.
