GATE 2025 result scorecard: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the scorecards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their GATE 2025 result scorecard from the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
The results for GATE 2025 were announced earlier on March 19, alongside the list of top rankers. The examination was conducted in multiple sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with over 10 lakh candidates appearing for the test. GATE is a crucial examination for candidates seeking postgraduate admission and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
GATE 2025: How to download
Step 1: Visit the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the login tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your Enrolment ID/Email ID and Password.
Step 4: Submit the details to access your scorecard.
Step 5: Download and save a copy for future reference.
Candidates must note that the GATE 2025 scorecard will remain valid for three years until March 2028. It can be used for admission to Master of Technology (MTech), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Master of Engineering (ME) programs in top engineering institutes. Additionally, the scorecards can also be used when applying for recruitment opportunities in leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) that consider GATE scores for job applications.

GATE 2025 result: What are the next steps?
After the GATE results, candidates have options for postgraduate studies, by taking admission to Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Engineering (ME), and PhD programs at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
Admissions to IITs are conducted through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Organised by IISc Bengaluru, registration for COAP 2025 are expected to begin in April.

GATE 2025 qualifying candidates also have the option of applying for various Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) recruitment rounds. Many PSUs consider GATE scores for recruitment in technical and managerial roles.
