Goa Board SSC Result 2025: To pass the Goa board examinations, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in all subjects

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will release the Goa Board SSC examination results today, April 7, 2025. The Class 10 results will be announced at 5:30 pm. Candidates who have appeared for the Goa Board Class 10 examination can check the results through the official site of GBSHSE — gbshse.in, once out.

Candidates should be ready with their roll number and date of birth so they can download the result and mark sheet. Along with the results, the topper list will also be announced.

Goa Board SSC Result 2025: Passing Marks

To pass the Goa board examinations, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in all subjects. It must be noted that the student must score 33 per cent in theory and practical examinations separately to clear Goa Board Examination. In case they fail to do so, they will be given a chance to appear in the supplementary examination. Details of the same will be announced after the results are announced.

The Goa SSC Examination 2025 was conducted between March 1 and March 21, 2025, at 32 designated examination centres across Goa. This year, a total of 18,838 regular candidates appeared for the exam, including 9,280 boys and 9,558 girls.

Goa Board SSC Result 2025: Previous Year Pass Percentages

Last year, the Goa Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.38 per cent for its SSC students reflecting a 4.22 per cent decrease from  2023. The pass percentage for girls stood at 92.93 per cent while for boys it was 91.80 per cent. Both the overall pass percentage as well as the gender-wise pass percentage saw a slight decline in 2024. Out of the 18,940 students who appeared, 17,473 cleared the examination.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage of the Goa Board Class 10 exam stood at 96.6 per cent. Among the students, girls outperformed boys by a small margin. Girls achieved a passing percentage of 96.92 per cent, while boys scored 96.37 per cent.
