The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar will not be announcing the Class 12 science stream and the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 results on April 17, the board in a statement said. The Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) science stream exam and GUJCET 2025 exams were conducted in March. The official website for GSEB Class 12 and GUJCET 2025 results is gseb.org.
A release stating that the results of the HSC Class 12 science stream exam and GUJCET 2025 examination held in March 2025 will be declared on the board’s website on April 17 at 9 am, is incorrect and fake, the GSHSEB Gujarat confirmed denying the statement.
“No such press release has been issued by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar,” the board said in a statement issued in Gujarati.
“It is hereby notified that this press release is fake. The press release of when the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Standard-12 (Science Stream) and GUJCET-2025 examination held in March-2025 will be officially declared by the board will be published on the board’s website – gseb.org,” it said adding that all concerned should take note of this.
The science stream exams were held from February 27 to March 10, while the general stream exams ended on March 17. GUJCET 2025 was conducted on March 23. The final answer keys of GUJCET 2025 are released already.
Last year, GUJCET result was declared on May 9 and the exam was held on March 31. Last year, 510 students in the state-level group A examination secured above the 99 percentile and 990 in group B. Over 1.37 lakh students appeared for the examination last year.
