The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gujarat (GSEB) on May 5 will announce GSEB HSC Class 12 science and general stream results. The Class 12 Science results will be available on the official website of the Gujarat board – gseb.org.
In addition to the GSEB Class 12 HSC results, the Gujarat board will announce the GUJCET 2025 results. The students will be able to check their GUJCET scorecards at the official website – gseb.org.
The students who appeared in the Gujarat board Class 12 Science stream exam will be able to check and download their marksheet from the official website using credentials like roll number and seat number.
GSEB HSC Class 12 Science Result 2025: Date, time to check result
As per the official announcement, the result for Gujarat board Class 12 science stream and general will be declared on May 5 after 10.30 am, a statement on the GSEB website read.
Results, when declared will be available at the official website of the board- gseb.org.
To collect the Gujarat board HSC Class 12 original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. The original hard copies of the marksheets will be provided by the board to the schools after a few days.

This year, the GSEB board conducted the Class 12 board exams for the science stream between February 27 and March 10. The exam was divided into two parts. The first part had OMR-based questions. The practical exams for the Class 12 science stream were held on February 6, 2025
In 2024, the Gujarat board declared the HSC Class 12 result for all streams on May 9. The Gujarat board Class 12 Science stream exams were held between March 11 and March 22.
The overall pass percentage last year in the science stream was 82.45 per cent. The pass percentage last year saw a huge increase from 2023. In 2023, the overall pass percentage in the science stream was 65.58 per cent.
A total of 1,31,849 students had registered for the Gujarat board Class 12 science stream exam in 2024. Out of the total registered students, 1,30,650 appeared for the exam, and 91,625 passed the exam.

In 2024, the boys had outperformed girls in the Science stream by a narrow margin. The girls scored an overall pass percentage of 82.35 per cent, while boys scored 83.53 per cent.
To pass the Gujarat Board Class 12 Science exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 33 per cent overall. Also, they must obtain a minimum grade of ‘D’ in all subjects. If a student fails in one or more subjects, they can appear for a supplementary exam.
Students who will be unsatisfied with their marks will have the option to apply online for rechecking through the official website. The application date and details of rechecking will be available during the announcement of result.
