The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially clarified that a fake press release has been circulating claiming that the the Class 12 Science stream results and GUJCET 2025 results will be announced on April 17, 2025, at 9 AM. The board has confirmed that it is false and no such announcement has been made by GSEB. Once declared, the notification will be made available on the official websites, gseb.org and gsebeservice.com.
The GSEB stated that they have not issued any such press release. Students and parents have been warned against relying on unofficial sources.

The final answer key of GUJCET was released on April 10. The physics answers were updated however there is no change in the mathematics, chemistry, and biology answers. As per the marking scheme, each correct answer will earn one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt. Unreserved category candidates are required to achieve an overall score of 45 per cent, or 54 out of 120 marks. Candidates from SC, ST, and OBC must score 40 per cent, or 48 out of 120 marks to clear the exam.

The HSC and SSC exams were held from February 27 to March 17 in two shifts. The morning shift exam was conducted from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm and the second shift from 3 PM to 6:15 PM. GSEB HSC Science stream exams took place in the second shift from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
Students must receive at least 33 per cent scores in each subject to pass the Gujarat Board HSC science exams. Those who get 20 marks or below will fall in the F category, which means fail. They will be able to apply for supply exam for all subjects and the best score out of the board exams and supply exams will be taken into consideration.
