Gujarat NEET UG Counselling: The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has rolled out the schedule for the third round of choice filling in Gujarat NEET UG counselling. This crucial phase in the admission process allows all eligible applicants, as listed in the ACPUGMEC merit list, to participate in the choice-filling process online through the official website (http://medadmgujarat.ncode.in/).
Candidates who have not previously participated in the second round of ACPUGMEC counselling can also fresh register for the third round and actively engage in choice filling. To initiate the process, candidates must log in to the website (www.medadmgujarat.org) using their User-ID and Password to provide their ONLINE CONSENT for participation in the third round.
It’s essential to note that if a candidate who confirmed admission in the first or second round and subsequently gets allotted a new seat in the third round, their previous admission will automatically be cancelled. Candidates taking part in the third round and not witnessing an upgrade in their admission will retain their second-round admission and are obligated to pursue studies in the admitted course and college.
Additionally, candidates who have participated or not participated in the third round but wish to upgrade their admission status in the same college through a change of admission category or quota (e.g., ST/SC/SEBC/EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat) can do so without reporting to the help centre for confirmation.
The seat allotment process for the third round is based on merit and choice preferences in institutes approved by the concerned council. Candidates are encouraged to fill in all available choices regardless of the institute’s status (permitted/recognized) to maximize their chances of securing admission if any institute receives permission during the allotment process.
In this round, candidates can select options for admission to government seats, management seats, and NRI seats in medical, dental, ayurvedic, and homoeopathic UG programmes. The ACPUGMEC emphasizes that all candidates included in their merit list are eligible for participation in the third round, regardless of their admission status in previous rounds.
Candidates are reminded that those who confirmed their entrance to the first or second round and chose to participate in the third round while being allotted a new seat would forfeit their previous access to those rounds.
