Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2025: Students who wish to appear in the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship exam must be enrolled in a state government, government-aided, or local body school

The State Examination Board (SEB) of Gujarat has begun the application process for the Gujarat National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2025. Interested and eligible students can apply for the scholarship by visiting the official website, sebexam.org. The last date to register is January 11, 2025. Candidates can pay the application fees until January 13, 2025.

National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) is a scheme by the union government under which 1 lakh scholarships are awarded to selected students every year from Class 7. Students who clear the NMMS exam will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum.

During the application process, candidates who belong to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or other backward class (OBC) categories must present authentic caste certificates that have been granted by appropriate authorities.

Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to appear in the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship exam must be enrolled in a state government, government-aided, or local body school. General category candidates must have scored 55 per cent in class 7 while reserved category candidates must have secured 50 per cent marks. In addition to that, the students must have a household income of less than Rs 3,50,000 to be eligible for the scholarship.

Step 2. Click the link for the Gujarat NMMS application form 25 from the homepage.

Step 3. Log in by entering the necessary details in the sign-up option.

Step 4. Complete the application by entering the required details.

Step 5. Now upload any required documents.

Step 6. Make the necessary payment.

Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2025: Application Fees

The application charge for students in the General and Backward Classes is Rs. 100. Students belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories must pay an application fee of Rs. 50.

Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2025: Exam Pattern

The exam contains two parts:

Part 1 (Mental Ability Test) – The exam will include 90 questions centred on synthesis, analysis, and reasoning.

Part 2 ( Scholastic Ability Test ) – There will be ninety questions covering science, maths and social science.
