Haryana Board Exams 2025: The Haryana Board of Secondary Education cancelled the Class 12 English paper 2025 held on February 27 in Palwal district due to a paper leak

The secondary and senior secondary board examinations conducted by the Haryana School Education Board, which were cancelled due to a paper leak, will now be re-conducted at the end of this month. The re-examination for Class 10 will be held on March 27, and the re-exam for Class 12 will take place on March 29 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

A total of 2,044 candidates will appear for the exams. Additionally, candidates who participated in national and international level sports will also have their exams on March 29 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Previously, the Haryana Board of Secondary Education cancelled the Class 12 English paper 2025 held on February 27 in Palwal district due to a paper leak. There were also reports of exam cancellations for Mathematics in Nuh and Palwal districts, due to alleged cheating and paper leak.

Board chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar and secretary Munish Nagpal said in a joint press conference that till March 12, as many as 381 cases of cheating have been caught in the 10th and 12th examinations. A total of 65 FIRs were registered against students, employees, and outsiders who were involved in the paper leak case. 39 teachers were relieved of their duties and strict action will be taken against them.

Nagpal had said that the entire staff has been changed and the examination has been cancelled on the complaint of mass copying in Chang village of Bhiwani. An FIR was lodged against those selling papers outside the examination centre in Shamdi village of Gohana. In Ganaur, some people were caught with chits and handed over to the police.

As per the exam guidelines, candidates must reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the exam, that is, by noon. After this time, entry into the centre will be prohibited. Candidates need to ensure that no objectionable material is around them. All regular candidates should be in school uniform and carry their school IDs. They also need to bring their original Aadhaar card to the exam center.
