We often hear stories of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) aspirants, who achieved the big feat of qualifying in this examination with sheer determination. Today, let us take a look at the success story of Geetika Tamta from Uttarakhand, and how she cracked UPSC. Geetika is a resident of Nainital, Uttarakhand. During the New Year celebrations of 2021 in Mukteshwar, she made a resolution to study hard. Geetika followed her resolution for some time.
Then, like everyone else, she got distracted because of social media. Realising that she was moving away from her goal, Geetika decided to delete all her social media accounts on January 15, 2021. Geetika Tamta started preparing for her UPSC mains exam on October 13, after giving her prelims on October 10, 2021. After passing her prelims, she organised her timings to concentrate better on her studies for the mains. In January 2022, her family moved to Dehradun, and she came back to Delhi.
After taking the main exam in Delhi, she went back to Dehradun. She participated in a lot of mock interviews to prepare for her UPSC interview in Delhi.
